Sorry for not making entries in the blog for the past few weeks. I have been really busy with the
comic. I also had to go to Georgia for a weekend.
Georgia was very nice. There are a lot of things I have never seen there. I saw the beautiful
mountains. I took some pictures of the mountains as the morning clouds were at the peeks. I was a fish out of
water down there, but I am glad I got to see another area of the country. By the way, not all of the people down there
are hillbillys. Just a lot of them :). They are really nice down there though. They drive like maniacs,
but they are real nice.
My comic is near completion. I have 20 written and am working on the artistry right now. I am
contacting newspapers to see if someone would be interested in publishing it. I just know this is my best shot at making
money.
Oh. Almost forgot. On the way back home, I stopped in Metropolis, Illinois. I had the
best time there. It is the famed Official Home of Superman. It has a large statue of the man of steel in front
of the courthouse, probably 20 feet high. You can go up to it and take your picture with the comic book legend.
Just make sure you turn your camera to the side so you can get a better shot. My wife took my picture and you could
hardly see me. I am about as tall as his leg. And all of the sides of the picture was wasted. I will have
to teach her a few things about photography sometime. But overall, it was fun. And it is good to see a town do
something to bring some business and tourists into the town... unlike my hometown.
Later.

Today has been a horrible day. To start, I had to travel 1 1/4 hours for a job interview. Then
when I got there, I find out that it wasn't a job but a chance to start a business but I wouldn't see any profit for six monthes
and then only if I can get people to use the services I offer. I just don't have that kind of time to wait for money.
So I have to drive another 1 1/4 hours back home while pissed off. So I figure I might as well start working on my business
that I have been working on. Why change? So the moral of the story... always ask on the phone if it is a
job or a business venture.
While I'm at it, here is another tip for a job interview. Most employers will ask you if you have
any questions at the end of the interview. This gives you a perfect opportunity to ask them what the ideal candidate
for the job would be. Then if you don't get the job, next time you get an interview, you can give them the answer they
gave you and you might have a better chance of getting the job.
I decided that I need to start loosing weight. This means very little in real life, because I have
no self control. I looked in the mirror and saw a fat man. I admit it. I'm fat. I suffer from dunlap
syndrome. I built the large shed over my great tool. But I need to loose the weight now. I don't know how
but I have to do it. I just wish I had some support from friends.
Well, that is it for now. Later.

Hello everyone. This is my new weblog or "Blog" as it is now called. As I said on the first
page, I will tell you about my life or an interesting story if I had a boring day. So here we go.
Today, as it happens was a pretty dull day. I got a great idea to help me with my drawing. I
am an aspiring comic strip creator and artist. But I have some trouble with the pose of the body. So I thought
I could take pictures of people on the street and study them. Get to know how they are to be drawn. But also learn
how to draw clothing and hair. Just so you know, I am also a BIG fan of Anime. I have so many books on the subject
of drawing that it isn't even funny. I still try. I hope to be able to draw anime someday. But you have
to start somewhere, so I start with the comic strip style. But to do this, my digital camera comes in pretty handy.
I am currently unemployed so I have a lot of time on my hands to think about things. For example,
most of the newer roadways have the traffic lights with two or more signals on one pole which hangs over the street, supposedly
one for each lane of traffic. Here is the problem. Never in my life have I ever seen one of these multiple light
poles have one say green and the other say red. They are perfectly syncronized. So if they say the same thing
at the same time, why do we need two on this pole? Why did they have to switch it from one on the pole to two.
Did someone sitting at the stop light see the green light and wonder, "Is that for me or is it for the lane next to me."
I hate to say it, but some people might be that stupid. But for me, it is a waste of my tax dollars as well as yours.
Well, this seems like a good start for now. I'll continue tomorrow.
See ya!
