Sorry for not making entries for a while.  But here we go.

 

Took my Dad out to eat today and he just had to give a little kid a dollar.  It is just embarassing.

 

My friend Tom is going through a very rough time right now.  I'm not going to get into it on here, but I hope he comes through it okay.  He knows he can count on me for anything if he needs it.

 

Not much else happening.  Just bored out of my mind.

 

Oh, I did find a cause that I think needs mentioned.  Here in our town, we have very little industry to support the towns people.  So the government in the town started a fund in which people donated money to have industry brought in to revive the town.  Industry that has not shown up yet.  Anyway, on certain businesses, they like to put the nifty slogan, Buy in town and the town will grow.  This wouldn't be so bad except all the businesses hire from outside the town.  So by them hiring from outside the town, they are giving the money away that should go to the people in this town.  To me, that is far worse than buying from outside the town.  So I was thinking of writing a letter to the editor of the local newspaper and see if it stirs up anything.  What the hell, can't hurt.
